Frequently asked questions
Is Everport a manufacturer or a trading company?
A manufacturer. Everport Trading is the North America registration of Dalian Yingda Aluminium, the plant that produces Walmart USA's private-label foil pans. When you buy from Everport, you buy from the production line. We supply distributors and wholesalers as well as restaurants, caterers and retail private-label programs.
How long is the lead time?
Standard items typically run 2 to 3 weeks in production at the Dalian plant, plus 5 to 6 weeks ocean freight to Toronto. Plan on roughly 8 to 9 weeks from confirmed order to your dock; your quote includes the delivery window for your order. Containers can be scheduled as planned replenishment so you are never ordering in a rush.
What is the minimum order?
It depends on what you buy and how you operate. The standard unit is a container, full or mixed across SKUs. Distributors usually start with a full container; restaurants, caterers and smaller operations can start with a mixed container, and we structure the smallest first order that makes sense for your volumes.
Who handles freight, customs and duties?
Your choice. We quote both ways: FOB Dalian if you run your own freight and customs, or landed at your GTA dock with ocean freight, clearance and duties handled by Everport and included in the price. Finished aluminum foil containers enter Canada at the standard 6.5% duty (HS 7615.10) and are not subject to Canada's 25% surtax on Chinese aluminum, which covers raw and semi-finished aluminum, not finished containers.
Where do you deliver?
Full or mixed containers delivered to loading docks across the Greater Toronto Area: Toronto, Mississauga, Scarborough, Brampton and Markham.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. Free samples are part of the standard process, so you can test the product in your own operation before committing to a container.
Can you run our private-label brand?
Yes. The same lines that produce Walmart USA's private-label foil pans can run your brand, with retail-grade QC.
What certifications and audits does the factory hold?
The plant produces Walmart USA's private-label foil pans under retail-grade QC and holds independent SGS third-party audits. Certificates and audit reports are available on request.
